TAMU-CC College of Business partnered with Coastal Compass to bring a Financial Literacy class to youth who seeked budgeting and tax knowledge to utilize in the workforce.

Amy Hernandez participates in the Financial Literacy project that simulates real life financial budget situations. The class was held in Coastal Compass in parnership with TAMU-CC College of Business. The program assisted individuals who seeked a better understanding of budgeting and tax knowledge.

The College of Business and the South Texas Economic Development Center at TAMU-CC partnered with Workforce Solutions of the Coastal Bend to offer a workshop geared to educate the youth who are entering the workforce. The two day training program aims to deliver basic financial literacy skills to include income and budgeting. The event was held at Coastal Compass in Corpus Christi, Tx.
