Island University Researcher Embarks on Offshore Expeditions Post-Harvey
Since Hurricane Harvey made landfall on Aug. 25, 2017, near Rockport, researchers in the College of Science and Engineering (COSE) at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi continue to study the effects of this natural disaster. Simon Geist, Ph.D., recently received a $199,952 Rapid Response Research (RAPID) grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) for his project titled, “NSF RAPID Plankton Project.”
