High School Student Learns and Develops New Tech at Island University
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – The Conrad Blucher Institute (CBI) at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi provides an environment for youths interested in technology and expanding their education. Marisol Rodriguez, a junior high school student at the School Science and Technology Corpus Christi, is spending her summer at the CBI as a student research assistant. During her time at the CBI, she has immersed herself in technologies like Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR), a remote sensing method used to examine the surface of Earth.
