080817 Music Industry Emphasis

DESCRIPTION: Performing and teaching are the two most common careers for those who earn a Bachelor of Arts in Music. However, thanks to a new degree emphasis at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, focusing on the business and technical side of music is now an option. The new Music Industry (MIND) emphasis within the Bachelor of Arts in Music begins fall 2017 and is expected to strengthen the already robust Department of Music at the Island University.
