082621 TAMU-CC Partnership with San Jacinto College
Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, in collaboration with San Jacinto College, has announced the creation of a formal partnership agreement creating clearer pathways for future Islander transfer students.
TAMU-CC President and CEO Dr. Kelly Miller alongside San Jacinto College Chancellor Dr. Brenda Hellyer, signed the partnership agreement during the San Jacinto College Board of Trustees meeting earlier this month.
San Jacinto College, established in 1961, is located in East Harris County and serves approximately 45,000 credit and non-credit students annually throughout its five campuses.
As part of the agreement, interested San Jacinto students with a grade point average of 2.0 or greater may apply to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at any time during their enrollment at San Jacinto and enjoy the benefit of a waived application and admission fee.
