090221 Two Islanders Hit the Road to Explore Employment Horizons During Summer Break
This summer, two Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi students spent time in some especially interesting employment opportunities that took each a ways away from the Island University.
Steven Gonzales ’21 was a kinesiology intern with the Esports Arena in Austin, a chain of indoor arenas and event centers dedicated to Esports, an emerging form of competition through video games. More than 1,0000 miles to the north, Theatre major Tatyanna Rodriguez ’22 spent the latter part of her summer working as a stagehand and carpenter for the 2021 Vail Dance Festival in Colorado.
