Islanders Connect with Scotland’s Queens and Criminals During Summer 2017 Study Abroad Program
Designed as an interdisciplinary learning experience where students can study both Social Sciences and Humanities, Drs. Kathryn Santos, Sarah Scott, Pam Brouillard and Assistant Professor Thomas Murphy traveled with more than 35 students to study abroad in Dalkeith, Scotland as part of the 2017 Islanders in Scotland Study Abroad Program. The five-week trip allowed students, staff and faculty to engage in a learning community, conduct primary research and immerse themselves in a culturally rich environment directly related to course materials.
