020222 TAMU-CC’s Dr. Robin Johnson named to Texas A&M System Chancellor’s Academy of Teacher Educators

Dr. Robin Johnson, Dr. Mark Hughes, and Carmen Castro were invited to share information about TAMU-CC, college, and careers at Oak Park Elementary School's Educational Learning Fair.

The Educator Induction Ceremony is one of Dr. Robin Johnson's favorite times of the year, where the seniors who are graduating with a teacher certification are inducted into the teaching profession and given a medal to commemorate the occasion and wear with their cap and gown. Dr. Robin D. Johnson was awarded the Judy Richardson Literacy as a Living Legacy Award by the Association of Literacy Educators and Researchers professional organization for her work with Barrio Writers, a community-based creative writing program.

Dr. Robin Johnson celebrated with Michelle Cortez ‘18 and Allena Hernandez ‘18 as they received their Dean's List award.
